After a short stints in America, Southern Ireland and Spain she returned to Aberystwyth University to finish her education and ended up with a BA (Hons) in English and History, an MA in 18th Century English and History and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business and Marketing Management. A move into Bookselling Management with Hammicks (now Waterstones) took her from Oldham to Windsor where she moved into London to work for The British Heart Foundation. There she met her partner Barry and when they discovered they were going to have a baby they took the decision to move up North and take a year off with their new baby. It was during this time that Vicky decided to get busy with the cutting and sticking and created The Art Angels! Vicky has appeared on various radio shows and in newspapers talking about entertaining kids and being a woman and mother in business.
